Allergan launched its first editorial content site—Spotlyte.com in 2018. Spotlyte was a destination for readers to learn more about beauty treatments and procedures, and its goal was to remove the stigma from medical aesthetics. I worked closely with the editorial, marketing and creative lead to execute the visual voice of Spotlyte, including all imagery and videos.
Art Direction
I researched and found photographers and production companies to shoot talent in New York and throughout the United States. I attended productions on set, providing art direction while ensuring talent was comfortable and assisted throughout the day.
Video
Researched and identified production companies to execute Spotlyte.com video franchises, including Treatment of the Week and Under the Needle. Attended onset to provide art direction and signed off each frame setup. Focused on ensuring proper language was used by the talent and HCPs.
Production: Guggenheim Productions, NYC
Mixed Bag Media, Atlanta
Social
Created original images, GIFs and animations for Instagram.
Photography
Captured portraits of local and national talent for the Spotlyte Local franchise. I planned and prepared on-location shoots, booking and makeup artists for talent. Directed talent posing and lighting for optimum photo quality.
Stock Photography
Managed Spotlyte.com stock needs across every category and found images that express a range in ethnicity, race, age and body type.
Image Composites
Requested product images from PR to create custom image composites for Spotlye’s Product reviews.
Product review
I wrote product reviews featured in Spotlyte's editors' picks.
